What does it mean to sponsor a bear?

Sponsoring an ostomy teddy bear means you're gifting a cuddly companion to an ostomy patient by covering the cost of the bear.

Who will receive the sponsored bear?

An ostomy patient or family in need of hope and encouragement.  Ostomy bears are typically presented to patients and families by an ostomy nurse, surgeon, or counselor.  All patient privacy standards are upheld.  

We try our best to gift the bears and books to patients in the same State or community as their sponsor.

Is there a discount for sponsoring bears and books?

Yes, there is a discount when you sponsor bears shipped together to one location.​

• Sponsorship of 1-4 bears is $40 per bear.*

• Sponsorship of 5 or more bears is $35 per bear.*

• Sponsorship of 5 or more bears with books included is $38 per bear/book combo*.

*Pricing includes tax and shipping together to one location.
